HAHA!

Remember the post we did about Kuwait appropriate clothing, and one reader commented about shorts and another said if she saw a guy wearing shorts at Salhiya she would also be like WTF? Well here we have a dude in shorts and a funny little shirt, at Salhiya. We personally have no problem with it, we think, he may have REALLY needed to pop into Cartier to buy his hottie wife a Love Bracelet after Chalet. That's kind of cool, and very devil may care. He bought his shirt from a sample sale in NY and his shorts, well we don't know. He sort of was on the phone the whole time and we feared he may think we were hitting on him so we just sort of snapped and walked away.

Lanvin and H&M

So the reason we have been blogging about this collection, is NOT because we are getting paid to do so. We happen to know that this collection is going to kickbutt, and it truly makes us happy. We LOVE Lanvin, but we also know the average girl and dude cant really afford to purchase the entire collection...so here go kiddies...feast your eyes on this:

Harem scare'em

May get fired from my day job, feeling as scarded as this hare looks. P.s my amazing friend at a weekend get together in ETRO, and D&G shoes. His rabbit/hare cane is a present from a friend who purchased it at a random store in London. This fashion statement is due to a dislocated disc, well at least everything has it's upside. Like me possibly loosing my job, (damn my opinionated outspoken self to hell,) may result in more blogging. Woohoo/sob.

Pechakucha Kuwait

Good morning you gorgeous lovelies ! If you went to Pechakucha last week you will know a few things:
1. It was a cluster#uck.
2. You learned how to actually PRONOUNCE the word.

Remember the Days?

Do you all remember the days, when in order to go to Salhiya or Villa Moda*, you had to do it Kashkha** style? You could be chilling at Givenchy pining over 500KWD shoes for your sister's wedding, and watch a woman saunter in on a Saturday afternoon with the exact same pair. Well, move over high end, and make room for highstreet! We spotted this girl chillaxing in Salhiya with a kickbutt vintage YSL (her mom's) . The rest of her outfit is on par as well, the knotted tshirt (we are rocking that look today as well!), the baby blue jeggings, the accessories..AWESOME. Tell us what you think!

Van Cleef & Arpels Event

We got invited by the Van Cleef & Arpels team to attend the grand opening of their store this past week in Salhiya. It was awesome, the store looks pretty fantastic, and so did the attendees. We loved the looks that ranged from understated chic, to straight up red carpet and everything in between.
